Terms & conditions

The following terms and conditions set out the legal rules applicable. Participants shall be bound by these terms and conditions upon registration for the workshop and are advised to read and understand these terms carefully before registering. The organizer will not accept any conditions contradictory to or deviant from these general terms and conditions.

Registration

Registration to the workshop must be done through the online registration system. Participants will receive an automatic confirmation of the registration details. If you do not obtain anything, please send an email to wolfgang.kreuzpaintner@frm2.tum.de and enquire about your booking. Please inform us about any corrections to your registration asap.

Workshop fees

All prices quoted for the workshop participation are calculated on a per-person basis. They do not cover the real costs of the workshop but are a reasonable contribution towards the expenses for organizing the workshop. The rates are as follows:

Standard:

300.00 EUR

Student (up to PhD-student):

200.00 EUR

Booking periods

Workshop registration ends 12 September 2014

All fees for the workshop registration should be paid upon registration by bank transfer (on request by the participant, also an on-site payment by cash will be offered on arrival at the venue). All payments are to be made in Euro.

Acknowledgement

Registration and payment will be confirmed by email.

Cancellation policy

After registering for the workshop the cancellation fee is 100%. However, the participant has the right to appoint a substitute up to two weeks before the workshop.

The organizer reserves the right to modify the content of the program, the speakers and the times of presentations. If the number of participants is insufficient, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the workshop and all related products and/or services without any liability on his part. In the case of a cancellation by the organizer, participants will be reimbursed the full registration fee paid.

Photographs, video-streaming, etc.

The Organizer may free of charge and without the further consent of the participants use and release pictures and shots taken of the participants and/or their works (such as posters, excerpts of presentations or lectures) during the workshop for reports on the workshop.

Data Use Agreement

Upon registration, the participant agrees to the usage of his or her data for the website and printed and/or online media to promote the workshop. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

Liability

The organizer does not accept liability for the up-to-dateness, correctness and completeness in respect to workshop documentation and content.
The Organizer will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the workshop.

Disputes

All agreements between the organizer and the participant and all disputes which may arise between the organizer and the participants shall be exclusively subject to German law. Place of jurisdiction is Munich, Germany.

Severability Clause

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
