The conference will be hosted by the Technical University of Munich, Germany, from 27–30 August 2024, with a Summer School for Junior Researchers from 26–27 August. It is the bi-annual meeting of the Special Interest Group “Conceptual Change” (SIG03) of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI).

This meeting aims at bringing together researchers from around the world interested in conceptual learning and related fields. At this meeting, we especially invite researchers focusing on topics related to conceptual change processes, digital learning, learning environments, computational modeling, or adaptive learning. We want to discuss especially the potential and the challenges of conceptual change theory in the era of digital transformation. However, regardless of the conference theme, submissions of other topics related to the field of conceptual change are welcome as well!

The conference will feature keynotes, symposia, paper and poster presentations. Other formats (e.g., roundtables, ICT demonstrations) are also welcome. Before the conference, there will be a Summer School with introductory and feedback sessions with experienced researchers and presentations by junior researchers.
