Schedule: 01 December 2026, 14:00 - 15:30 and 16:30 - 18:00 CET
Venue: TUM-IAS Auditorium, Garching campus
Instructor: Petar Mlinarić (University of Zagreb)
Intended Audience: FrontUQ workshop participants and TUM graduate students, doctoral researchers and scientists
Course Overview: pyMOR: Do MOR with Python
pyMOR is a library for model order reduction (MOR) in Python, implementing generic algorithms for MOR based on abstract vectors and operators. This allows integrating pyMOR with external PDE solvers or other numerical simulation tools. Furthermore, pyMOR includes various methods for model-based MOR of parametric partial differential equations and control systems, as well as data-driven methods. This tutorial will give an introduction to the design of pyMOR and demonstrate a range of available methods.
Please note: The short course is free to attend for TUM students and scientists. To register for the short course, please email frontuq [at] tum.de by 15 November. If you would like to attend the subsequent FrontUQ workshop (link), registration is mandatory and is subject to a charge (registration fee).
