Venue

In 2016, the International ITG Workshop on Smart Antennas comes back to the Technische Universität München (TUM), where it started its successful tour in 1996. From here, it spread out to many places in Germany and neighboring countries.

It is our great privilege to organize WSA’s 20th anniversary at the TUM Institute for Advanced Study. The TUM-IAS on the Garching Campus is unique in Germany. Currently, a total of 55 Fellows from 16 different countries work at the IAS. The institute was founded in 2005 and has been funded by the Excellence Initiative of the federal and state governments since 2006.

Founded in 1868 to provide the state of Bavaria with a center of learning dedicated to the natural sciences, TUM has played a vital role in Europe’s technological advancement and has the prestige of producing a number of Nobel Prize winners.
