Arriving by train
At Munich central station every train of the suburban rail network called "S-Bahn" in direction to "Ostbahnhof" takes you within two stations to Marienplatz. Please change here to the subway (U-Bahn, line U6).
At Marienplatz the subway line U6, direction to "Garching-Forschungszentrum", takes you in about 20 minutes to the station "Garching". Use the exit "Maibaum" to get to the top. Cross the street and walk north. After the restaurant "Poseidon" you arrive within some steps at Hotel Hoyacker Hof.

Arriving by plane
At the airport use the suburban rail network "S-Bahn", line S8, and exit the train at the third stop at Ismaning. From there please take the bus 230 to Garching. In Garching, get off at the stop "Garching U-Bahn".
Next to the restaurant Poseidon you'll easily find Hotel Hoyacker Hof. (Approximately 45 minutes)
Please note: After 10 p.m., on weekends and holidays there is a call-line taxi available. Please order the taxi at least 30 minutes prior to departure via telephone +49 89 900 68 78 0. The price is included in the S-Bahn ticket.

Taxi from the airport
The trip will take about 20-40 minutes depending on traffic. The price is depending on the route, vehicle, time and luggage charges: 45 euros or more.
Travel by car
From the North:Take the exit - Garching Nord - Leave the A9 Nürnberg-Munich motorway and head towards Garching. At the first traffic light, turn right into Freisinger Landstraße (B11). At the roundabout take the first exit. After that, cross two traffic lights - approximately 60 m after the 2nd traffic light you'll see Hotel Hoyacker Hof entrance on the right side.
From the South: Exit the motorway A9 Munich-Nürnberg at - Garching Süd - and follow the main road B471 towards Garching. At the next intersection, turn left and follow about 1 km the Münchner Straße. Passing the Gasthof Neuwirt, the Subway station and restaurant Poseidon you'll arrive at the hotel entrance.
Parking is secure and free in our garage or in one of our parking areas in front of Hotel Hoyacker Hof.
