To showcase the excellent research that will be presented at the Munich Hydrogen Symposium 2024, we are delighted to share that we are partnering with the Royal Society of Chemistry journal, Energy Advances, to publish a dedicated Themed Collection featuring a selection of articles from the conference.
Energy Advances is an Open Access journal from the Royal Society of Chemistry, committed to publishing exciting, multidisciplinary research from the forefront of energy technology, including topics such as hydrogen production, storage, and usage. Fitting with the theme of this conference, we welcome primary research and reviews on hydrogen technologies for sustainable energy.
Energy Advances, as an Open Access journal, has a charge for article processing (APC). Many researchers will not have to pay an APC owing to existing institutional Open Access deals with Royal Society of Chemistry (you can check your eligibility here). However, if authors are not covered by one of these deals and are unable to pay the article processing charge, Energy Advances are offering a waiver for articles that are contributed to this Themed Collection.
The Guest Editors for this Themed Issue are Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Fendt (TUM / Chair of Energy Systems), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hartmut Spliethoff (TUM / Chair of Energy Systems), and Prof. Kentaro Umeki (Department of Energy Science at the Lulea University of Technology in Sweden). Please contact the Guest Editors (h2symposium.les@ed.tum.de) or the journal directly (energyadvances-rsc@rsc.org) for more information about this themed collection. Further guidance about preparing your manuscript and our various article types can be found on the journal website.
Submissions are due by 28th February 2025 and can be made through the journal’s online submission portal: https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/energyadv. Upon submission, please state that the article is intended for the MH2S Themed Collection in the “Details & Comments” section (Step 5) of the submission process.
