Welcome to ECHEMS Meeting 2024!
Electrochemistry in Molecular Transformations

The 14th ECHEMS meeting is part of an international conference series focusing on new developments in molecular electrochemistry (General ECHEMS). This 14th ECHEMS meeting is a single session meeting featuring oral and poster presentations from early career and senior researchers on the broad topic of “Electrochemistry in Molecular transformations”. The main aim of the meeting is to allow exchanges among all topics of molecular electrochemistry and electrosynthesis in the broader context of transitioning toward sustainability. The conference is set from 28th till 31st October, 2024 in the historical and remote location of the TUM Academy Center in Raitenhaslach at the Bavarian/Austrian border to foster discussion between all participants during the talks, posters, conference dinner, and social activities.

The topics of the 14th ECHEMS meeting will be:

  1. Latest developments in electrosynthesis and organic electrochemistry, including transformation of macromolecules, biomolecules, and chiral systems
  2. New molecular (bio-)catalysts and materials for the sustainable transformation and activation of small molecules (CO2, N2, H2, NH3, O2)
  3. Electrochemical methods for mechanistic studies of molecular transformations catalyzed by enzymes, molecular systems or materials
  4. Molecular transformation in electrochemical sensing
