Welcome to MICCAI 2015
MICCAI 2015, the 18th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention, will be held from October 5th to 9th, 2015 in Munich, Germany. It is organized by TUM (Munich) with the support of FAU (Erlangen-Nuremberg).
MICCAI attracts annually world leading scientists, engineers and clinicians from a wide range of disciplines associated with medical imaging and computer assisted surgery. The MICCAI Conferences are rotated among the North American, European, and Asian continents. Approved conference venues and dates are normally decided four to five years in advance.
The conference series includes three days of oral presentations and poster sessions. It also includes workshops, tutorials and challenges just before and after the conference. These associated satellite events focus in detail on current status and advances in the topics of MICCAI.
It is a great opportunity for the German biomedical engineering community to host this conference in Germany for the first time. We are proud to promote and foster the exchange and dissemination of advanced knowledge, expertise and experience in the field produced by leading institutions and outstanding scientists, physicians and educators around the world.
