HPC Software Developer

Fluid Mechanics, SPH-Methods
Your responsibilities:
• Extension of an existing SPH-multiphase flow solver
• Develop and implement physical models (interface phenomena, non-Newtonian fluids, ...)
• Analyze and optimize performance of GPU-software
• Controlling and management of projects

Our requirements:
• Degree in mechanical engineering, computer science or comparable studies
• Proven relevant expertise in numerical fluid mechanics, preferably regarding multi-phase flows and/or particle-based methods (SPH)
• Pronounced abilities to integrate yourself in a team and contribute actively
• Good programming skills in C/C++, MPI and CUDA
• Good command of English, German language skills are favorable but not mandatory

Working hours: 40 hours/week
Start Date: 1 October, 2016
